Swansea Half Marathon 2017
25 juin 2017
Thousands of runners took to the streets of Swansea on Sunday
25th June to take part in the annual JCP Swansea Half Marathon,
which we were delighted to support.
Record numbers participated in the event this year, which is
officially the UK's Best Half Marathon and Wales' second largest
race of its kind, and saw a record of 43 nationalities represented.
Third time winner Dewi Griffiths beat the men's course record with
a time of 64:48, whilst Claire Gibbons-McCarthy was the leading
lady in 74:45 and Eddie Clampin was the wheelchair winner with a
time of 2:18:59.
Record numbers of PB's were also made with thousands beating their
previous times on the day, which had near perfect running
conditions, as stated by many of the runners.

We were happy to show our support to all those participating and
included some LoSalt samples in the goody bags for all the runners
taking part in the race to take away and try at home. LoSalt
contains 66% less sodium than regular salt, so is a healthier
alternative and can be used in exactly the same way.

Congratulations to all the runners that took part in the race, we
hope you had a great day and enjoyed your LoSalt samples in your
goody bags!
